Instagram may be the cool kid on the block, but based on responses to the 2018 Wood Floor Business State of the Industry survey, Facebook continued its domination as the most popular social media platform for wood flooring retailers and contractors last year. The percentage of retailers using Facebook increased from the previous year, growing from 78 percent to nearly 85 percent, while contractors’ use of Facebook went up 2 percent to 56 percent. The amount of contractors who say they do not use social media decreased from a sizeable 40 percent to 36 percent.
