Kurt Vollstedt of New Dimension Hardwood Floors in Eugene, Ore., shared this picture of something he says he had never seen in his 23 years of doing hardwood floors. His company was adding onto and refinishing the existing wood floors for the strength and conditioning coach for the football team at the University of Oregon, Aaron Feld:
"He said he would move it off the hardwood floor. So he arrived with another coach and started to measure the fridge, and he found that he would have to remove the doors to get it through the doorways. Not wanting to do that, he and the other coach measured the height of the fridge and the ceiling height, and it had 5 inches to spare. My project manager said they just grabbed the fridge and set it on the counter like it was a grocery bag."
