I do not know where to start. The install job is going great and we got a bunch laid today. My body is feeling better with the shots for my diabetes, and my numbers are outstanding.
I came home to rest after a good day of work ... but the sad and bad came very hard and fast. My friend Mike V. is a builder I do work for, and he is in big need of all our prayers. His wife took her own life today. I ask that you keep my friend Mike in your prayers, please.
Sorry folks, I just do not feel like posting much tonight; I know this blog is for the day in the life of a contractor, but this is life, and Mike is a very good friend. I am just in tears right now...not sure what to say to him or how to help with his pain.
I want to say this: Please, if life gets that hard on anyone, find a friend you can cling to. Reach out to family, friends, doctors, church leaders or anyone that will share their love. We all need help in life, so never think you are alone. God bless.
