    Vermont Natural Coatings and Norton Abrasives Host Sand and Finish School in Chesterfield, MO

    There are only a few days left to register for the latest Sand and Finish School hosted by Norton Abrasives and Vermont Natural Coatings!

    Flooring contractors are invited to the NWFA Headquarters from June 6-7 for an Advanced Sand and Finish Class. Instructors Bob Goldstein and Greg Mihaich will lead several days of hands-on training in sanding and finishing. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with Norton abrasives and PolyWhey® Professional Wood Floor Finishes.

    Tap the expertise of the instructors to gain valuable information on equipment use and maintenance and choosing the right abrasives and finishing techniques that yield high quality results.

    Cost: $275 includes training, lunches and one dinner, $100 in free sandpaper per company attending.

    June 20-21: Sand and Finish School at Lägler North America Headquarters
    Lagler North America Training Center, 12875 E 42nd Ave, Suite 50, Denver, CO 80239

    Vermont Natural Coatings partners with Norton Abrasives and Lägler North America to bring a one-of-a-kind sand and finish training experience. Professional floor contractors are invited to join us in Denver, Colorado from June 20-21 for hands-on training in Lägler’s PST method, sanding and finishing.  In addition to gaining two NWFA credits for this school, participants will also leave with a certification in the PST method, designed to teach professionals the ideal methods of using the Hummel, Trio, and Flip machines, which save time and money on the job. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with Norton abrasives and PolyWhey Professional Wood Floor Finishes.

    14th Wood Adhesion Short Course
    Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR

    This short course, offered by the Wood-Based Composites Center, will introduce the basic concepts of adhesion, and then build on these concepts with specific attention to wood.  Upon completion of the course, participants will better understand the unique bonding characteristics of wood.  They will be better prepared to analyze existing problems and performance, and evaluate new applications.
