This year, the Hardwood Federation Fall Fly-In is scheduled for September 20-22, 2016. And, logically enough, it’s going to be in Washington, D.C., because that’s the best place to meet with a whole bunch of members of Congress all at once.
You can register at HF Fly-In 2016 and book your hotel there as well. The schedule follows the same pattern as past events—board meetings to discuss issues, a Hill walk (put some miles around the Capitol as you meet members of Congress), a reception and dinner with Republican members and then a breakfast with the Democrats. Come talk about bats or Forest Service budgets and goals.
