The August/September issue of Wood Floor Business is off the presses and in the mail, and that means there is a new caption contest winner.

The caption that received the most votes in our “Smiling Applicator Guy” contest is from Matthew Silvestro of Bittersweet Contracting LLC in Medford, Mass. Silvestro submitted the following caption on WFB’s Facebook page.

Other favorite entries included:

“I told the homeowner I’d put another coat on for free. Hopefully she won’t notice there’s no finish,” from Mark Freece of East Penn Hardwoods in Allentown, Pa.

and

“Man, I can’t handle this anymore. I think I’ll become a rep,” from Kyle Neuroh of Neuroh Hardwood Flooring in Williamsport, Tenn.

The next caption contest will be announced in E-News Aug. 14.
