Connor Sports (Amasa, Mich.) and Norcross, Ga., based dealer CBA Sports partnered to support “Ballin 4 Peace,” an event organized for Atlanta youth by the Atlanta Hawks, Jr. NBA and Atlanta Police Department on Oct. 14.
Balling 4 Peace included a series of workshops and listening sessions centered on gang violence, bullying, interacting with police and making positive decisions. It also featured a basketball game with former Atlanta Hawks players.
“Connor Sports, through our Connor Sports Cares initiative and with our local Atlanta dealer CBA Sports, was proud to partner with the Atlanta Hawks and Jr. NBA to support Ballin 4 Peace as a positive resource for local youth and their parents using the popularity and life skills of sports to help make a difference in the Atlanta community,” said Lauren Gillian, director of social responsibility and community relations for parent company Gerflor USA, in a statement.
