Domotex USA organizer Hannover Fairs USA presented a $10,000 check to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIC) as a donation to the nonprofit’s efforts to aid floor covering professionals suffering from serious medical conditions.
“We are extremely grateful to Domotex for partnering with FCIF and for their commitment to give back to the backbone of the floor covering industry—our workforce,” stated FCIF Chairman Charlie Dilks.
The donation was presented during a Feb. 28 reception on the opening day of Domotex USA, which concluded its inaugural show March 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The show featured 287 exhibitors; show organizers said they would release attendee numbers at a later date.
Domotex USA 2020 is planned for Feb. 5–7 at the same location.
