Home prices rose 5.5 percent in October compared with October 2017 but were unchanged from September, according to the latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices.
The 10-City Composite increased 4.7 percent year-over-year, and the 20-City Composite grew 5.0 percent; both increases were down 0.2 percent from September.
Cities with the highest year-over-year gains in October included Las Vegas (12.8 percent), San Francisco (7.9 percent) and Phoenix (7.7 percent).
