Kährs Group (Malmö, Sweden) announced the acquisition of Ehrenborg & Co., a flooring distributor based in Sweden with operations throughout the Nordics.
The companies previously had a partnership in which Ehrenborg was responsible for sales of Kährs Group’s resilient flooring brand, Upofloor, in Scandinavia.
“We are very pleased that Ehrenborg now becomes part of Kährs Group,” stated Kährs President and CEO Christer Persson. “By integrating distribution, we add valuable expertise and experience as well as new interesting product groups, all in line with our aim to develop project sales.”
Ehrenborg Managing Director Jörgen Warsell said the company looks forward to strengthening its operations with Kährs Group.
“We share the same values regarding quality, environmental awareness, trends and customer relations, which have always been important drivers for Ehrenborg,” Warsell said in a statement.
