Lacrosse Downsizes Wood Flooring Mill Citing Lack of Market Demand

Lacrosse Hardwood Flooring (Westby, Wis.) has downsized its workforce and decreased production at its solid unfinished wood flooring mill in Westby, Wis.

“We’ve done a recent downsizing to size our production to the market demand,” said Mike Flynn, owner of Lacrosse’s parent company, Midwest Hardwood Corporation (Maple Grove, Minn.). “We will continue to monitor the market and produce that which the market will accept.”

The cuts were reported by local media outlets in late January. The mill manufactures solid unfinished walnut, white oak, red oak and hickory flooring.

Any parties interested in Lacrosse Hardwood Flooring who are not currently in contact with a sales person may now contact Michael C. Flynn, account representative, via email or by phone at (612) 965-6483.
