Mr. David’s Flooring (Chicago) has teamed up with Kittie’s Warriors, a nonprofit formed to help individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Kristina Russell, a manager at Mr. David’s, founded the nonprofit after losing her mother, Kittie, to cancer in 2013. Both Russell and her sister are cancer survivors, as well.
The foundation provides financial grants to cancer patients and is funded with support from sponsors, donors and the sale of handmade crafts.
Along with Mr. David’s, Bosch Power Tools has also joined the cause, funding grants for Kittie’s Warriors and raising awareness of the foundation through its Bosch Local Heroes Acts of Coolness series.
