N-Hance Refinishing Franchise Sees Surge in Demand

Floor refinishing franchise N-Hance Wood Refinishing, based in Logan, Utah, is reporting record-breaking demand for its services in the midst of the pandemic, due in part to the “national nesting trend”—in which more families are staying home and renovating.

The company says a majority of its franchisees are booked six to eight weeks out, “significantly longer” compared with the year prior. The company’s monthly job leads have also increased a record-breaking 60%, the company says.

“The demand for home improvement projects is surging due to homeowners’ focus on their quality of their life at home,” N-Hance Senior VP of Franchise Sales D’Wayne Tanner said in a statement. “We’re seeing a lot of homeowners divert money they had planned to spend on vacations to home renovation projects.”

The company has sold 16 franchise territories across the U.S. since March and has more than 500 locations nationwide.

Builder confidence, meanwhile, has never been higher, and a recent survey found 55% of homeowners were also planning to continue or begin a home improvement project this winter.
