Peruvian Wood Product Exports Down 7 Percent

Peruvian wood product exports totaled $58.1 million in May, a 7 percent decrease compared with the $62.5 million exported in May 2016, according to the most recent data from the Association of Exporters.

The main export market was China, where exports were up 10 percent year-over-year in May. Mexico, the second largest export market, saw Peruvian exports fall 10 percent year-over-year.
