Remodeling confidence remained steady at a level of 58 during the third quarter of 2018, according to the National Association of Home Builders’ Remodeling Market Index.
The index has remained above 50 since the second quarter of 2013.
“Remodelers across the country are seeing homeowner demand remain strong through the midpoint of the year,” NAHB Remodelers Chair Joanne Theunissen said in a statement. “Both positive home price growth—albeit at a slightly slower rate—and good consumer confidence are supporting the steady remodeling market.”
