Rubio Monocoat USA LLC (Oxnard, Calif.) set up Rubio Monocoat Canada Inc. as its exclusive importer for the Canadian market.
The company had experienced significant growth in the Canadian market over the past few years and created Rubio Monocoat Canada to support that growth and better serve the company’s Canadian customers.
“Shipping from our Canadian warehouse will provide quicker delivery times and reduced transportation costs,” said Export Manager Lex Schaap in a statement. “This, along with fixed pricing in CAD will further benefit our customers.”
The base of operations is in Toronto, and staff there are focused on handling sales and distribution for the consumer, contractor and industrial markets. Sales representatives have already been appointed and will be announced soon, the company said.
The facility will be fully operational Oct. 1.
