Valentus Specialty Chemicals, parent company of PoloPlaz, Absco and Sampson brands, announced changes to its executive team, including the appointments of Troy Murray as executive VP of operations; David Crawford as sales representative, South East; and Ed Reyes as sales representative, South West.
Murray previously served as VP/GM for the company's Jacksonville, Ark., production facility. In his new role, he'll be responsible for production efficiencies, product launch sequencing, vendor relationships and safety in Valentus facilities. He will report to Valentus President and CEO David Brunori.
"Troy's experience in finance, commercial programs and his drive to win make him the perfect fit for the new Valentus organization," Brunori said in a statement.
Crawford brings more than 15 years of experience in wood flooring distribution to his new role at Valentus, where he'll manage sales for the South Eastern region. Reyes has more than 20 years of experience in the wood floor finish market, and will manage sales for the South Western region. Both will report to Steve Crawford, Valentus residential sales director for the PoloPlaz, Absco and Sampson brands.
