WFB Briefs: BuildDirect Makes Online Trust List; Q.E.P. Board Member

BuildDirect (Vancouver, British Columbia) was named to Online Trust Alliance’s Top 50 Honor Roll, which recognizes websites that provide consumer protection, data security and responsible privacy practices.

Q.E.P. (Johnson City, Tenn.), which owns flooring-related industry brands Harris Wood Floors, Porta-Nails Inc., Roberts, Capitol, Vitrex and Homelux, among others, added George Markowsky to its board of directors. Markowsky was formerly senior vice president, portfolio manager of Bank of America Business Capital.
