WFB Briefs: Pallmann Training Day at Horizon; Shaw Recognized for Shipping

Horizon Forest Products (Raleigh, N.C.) will host complimentary training for Pallmann’s new Spider Floor Sanding Machine at Horizon’s Beltsville branch at 10549 Tucker Street in Beltsville, Md. The training and demo will be held July 18 from 6:30 a.m.–4 p.m.

 

Shaw Industries (Dalton, Ga.) was recognized as a “Shipper of Choice” by the Truckload Carriers Association, FreightWaves announced. The recognition was based on the company’s driver-friendly facilities, flexibility, efficiency and reduced wait times at docks. Shaw was ranked 17th among 25 winners.
