It Varies: We Can't Expect Solid Prefinished Wood Floor Widths to be Perfect

I arrive at the job site to find part of the flooring installed, and gaps between the long edges of the rows. The complainer places two boards end to end and points out the visible difference in width—another black-and-white case of mismilling, right?
