The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will hold a vote for its board of directors on April 27 during the Awards Dinner at the NWFA's 2011 Convention in San Diego. The following have been submitted by the association's Nominating Committee to serve an initial three-year term:
The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will hold a vote for its board of directors on April 27 during the Awards Dinner at the NWFA's 2011 Convention in San Diego. The following have been submitted by the association's Nominating Committee to serve an initial three-year term:
- Wayne Cotton, Wheeler Inc., a Division of JJ Haines & Company Inc. (Pompano Beach, Fla.)
- Mark Elwell, Bamboo Flooring Hawaii (Honolulu)
- Enos Farnsworth, Basic Coatings (Toledo, Ohio)
- Barry Gork, Timbermate USA (Chicago)
- Jamie Lupresto, Diamond Flooring (Elizabethtown, Ky.)
- Jim Schumacher, 3M (Annandale, N.J.).
John Lessick, Apex Wood Floors (Downer's Grove, Ill.), has been nominated for an additional three-year term. Elwell, Farnsworth, Lupresto and Schumacher are currently ex-officio directors. Future ex-officio directors will be appointed by the board after the election is held.

The NWFA's board of directors is the association's governing body and is responsible for its management and operations. It consists of four officers and 11 directors; each is voted into office by NWFA members to serve a three-year term.
