During its National Conference and Expo in New Orleans on March 14, members of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association (HMA) elected Jack Shannon Jr. (J. T. Shannon Lumber Co.) president of the group.
HMA members also elected new directors. They are:
- Scott Shaffer (Bingaman & Son Lumber Inc.)
- Bob Miller (Frank Miller Lumber Co.)
- T. J. Rosengarth (Northwest Hardwoods Inc.)
- Brian Schilling (Pike Lumber Company Inc.)
- John Lindeberg (Wellborn Cabinet Inc.)
- Ray Wheeland (Wheeland Lumber Company Inc.).
- Tommy Battle (Battle Lumber Co. Inc.)
- Bob Miller (Frank Miller Lumber Company Inc.)
- Rhonda Kendrick (Kendrick Forest Products Inc.)
- Nordeck Thompson (Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods Inc.)
- Pembroke Jenkins (Turn Bull Lumber Co.).
- Additional HMA officers for 2012 include: First Vice President Skipper Beal (Beal Lumber Co. Inc.)
- Second Vice President Richard Wilkerson (Anderson-Tully Company).
