Both Armstrong World Industries (Lancaster, Pa.) and IndoTeak Design (San Diego) have been named in This Old House magazine's Best New Home Products 2012 list.
The editors at This Old House picked Armstrong's Performance Plus hardwood flooring. "Perfect for those of us who are downright abusive to our floors, this acrylic-infused product is twice as hard as the untreated stuff," the editors wrote.
Meanwhile, This Old House picked IndoTeak's Natural Patina Herringbone teak flooring for its silica and natural oils that make the flooring "virtually wear resistant." What's more, the product is reclaimed from a demolished Dutch settlement in Indonesia.
