NWFA Hosts Sand & Finish Class in St. Louis

The National Wood Flooring Association hosted an Intermediate Sand & Finish class last week from June 17-June 20.

Instructors included Chris Livingston, 3M; Dave Erickson, UFloor; Doug Keaton, DuraSeal; Dwight Schoenherr, 3M; Galen Fitzel, 3M; Jeff Mayer, Mohawk Finishing Products; Johannes Boonstra, Rubio Monocoat; Larry LeFevre, DuraSeal; Mark Mukosiej, Arboritec; Matt Crawford, Clarke American Sanders; and Wayne Lee, Middle Tennenesse Lumber.

Eighteen students attended, including Mike Armstrong, Tom Helwig, Tommy Bantle, Phillip Jordan, Andy Burk, Nilton Mendonca, Jason Crossfield, Matt Placke, Joe Crossman, Jay Strunk, Juan DeDios, Mena Tawadros, Jared Fitzgerald, Allen Townsell, Derek Goettel, Dustin Tunstall, Mathew Young and Jason Wilson.

NWFA's Partners in Education for the Sand & Finish class were 3M, Arboritec, Bona US, Cherry Hill, Clarke American Sanders, DuraSeal, Festool, Good Filla, Lägler, Middle Tennesse Lumber, Mohawk Finishing Products, Rubio Monocoat and Padco.
