The NWFA hosted a four-day Advanced Installation school at its headquarters in Chesterfield, Mo., last week.
School participants learned advanced design and layout elements of a wood floor installation, how to install design and install parquet patterns, fit patterns and designs to the space, bend wood and develop jigs to create hand-made medallions, among other skills.
These lessons were taught while the class installed 2,400 square feet of floor in a parquet pattern. Check out the time-lapse below:
