NWFA CEO Michael Martin leads a discussion during the joint BOD meeting on April 27 in St. Louis.
In February, the NWFA started asking members for feedback on where the NWFA should focus its efforts with a survey sent to all members. The boards reviewed that feedback during the meeting and also solicited input from members during the Expo at a roundtable breakfast on April 30.
Member feedback so far indicates that technical support, consumer credibility and networking are the top reasons that members join the NWFA.
Lynn Courier, principal with St. Louis-based Resolved Consulting, is helping the NWFA create its strategic plan from the member feedback. The ideas will be analyzed and presented to the NWFA board of directors at its fall meeting in October.
Any NWFA members who still wish to add their input should contact the NWFA at [email protected] or (800) 422-4556.
As of the time of the NWFA Expo last week, the association has 3,020 member companies from all 50 states and 47 countries.
