The National Wood Flooring Association held its Intermediate Sand & Finish school at the Stoughton, Mass., branch of Wood Pro Inc. June 9–11.
Students at the school received hands-on training for sanding and finishing wood floors at an intermediate level.
“These NWFA certification courses are a great opportunity to meet other professionals in the field and exchange personal experiences about the trade,” said Greg Anderson, flooring consultant for Hull Forest Products Inc. and a student at the school. “I am always looking to learn more and receive more education in my career field, and forums like this are the perfect place to increase your expertise.”
Anderson added that the instructors were exceptional and very receptive to the students’ questions, and he highly recommended taking a class through the NWFA.
“You get out of life what you put into it,” he said.
