A sampling of the winners includes Mr. Sandless of Sarasota, Fla., which refinished the pine floors of the Crocker Memorial Church to help the local historical society; Archetypal Imagery Corp. for its work in the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County in New York; and C&R Flooring, which refinished and stained the dining hall flooring in a local Ronald McDonald House. The rest of the companies were awarded for their involvement with the Gary Sinise Foundation, which builds homes for wounded veterans.
