American OEM (Burns, Tenn.), founded by industry veterans Don Finkell and Wayne Cotton in 2014, has joined the National Wood Flooring Association Responsible Procurement Program.
As a participating manufacturer in the RPP, American OEM has committed to producing products sourced from environmentally and social responsible sources. The RPP was recently accepted into the National Association of Home Builders’ 2015 ICC 700 National Green Building Standard.
“The NWFA Responsible Procurement Program is an effective way to differentiate American OEM’s wood floors,” said Allie Finkell, executive vice president, in a statement.
Other RPP manufacturers include Anderson Hardwood Floors, Mannington Mill, Mullican Flooring, Shaw Hardwoods and Sheoga Hardwood Flooring & Paneling.
