Want to see how sander drums get refurbished?
The Discovery Channel show “How It’s Made” is featuring Revolution Manufacturing LLC (Eau Claire, Wis.) tonight when the show airs in Canada.
Revolution Manufacturing manufactures parts for floor sanding machines, but its bread and butter is refurbishing decommissioned sander drums. A Discovery Channel crew spent 13 hours inside the facility videotaping the whole process step-by-step.
“It felt like we were in a New York TV studio,” says President Jerry Brainerd. “We had taken the whole thing with a grain of salt, and when they came with that equipment, we knew it was real.”
The segment airs at 8 p.m. EST in Canada. The U.S. air date has not been announced yet.
