Allstate Flooring sanded and finished this 2013 Wood Floor of the Year Award-winning floor installed by Czar Floors.
Allstate Flooring (Lawrence, N.Y.) is announcing a partnership with perennial award-winning flooring company Yantarnaya Pryad-Parquet/Art Parquet (Khimki, Russia) at a soft-opening of its new showroom in the Manhattan Design District March 16 from 6–10 p.m.
The partnership means Allstate will facilitate sales and installations of Yantarnaya marquetry and parquetry across the United States. The partnership makes sense, said Allstate President Dmitry Lyubomirsky, who has great interest in parquet flooring and has also won awards for his flooring designs.
“It will be a good partnership for the both of us,” he said. “I think we’re going to introduce their high-end, quality products and designs … throughout the whole U.S. People are going to want something intricate, unique and high-quality.”
The partnership will be celebrated at Allstate’s soft opening party for its new 1,200-square-foot showroom in the Design District. This is Allstate’s second showroom and first in Manhattan.
“Now the designers don’t have to travel,” Lyubormirsky says. “We’re right in the heart of the Design District, and this will open up a lot of doors for people as far as new styles and designs.”
The party is open to family and friends, as well as select architects and designers. Representatives from Bona will be there to answer questions about their products, and guests will be provided with drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
