6 27 Oliver Hamann Miltec UV (Stevensville, Md.) hired physics and engineering expert Oliver Hamann as director of operations.

Hamann has more than 20 years of experience in systems engineering, manufacturing, lasers, and microscopy, as well as a Master of Science degree in physics from the University of Hamburg in Germany.

“Oliver’s strong background in physics, optical engineering and leadership will help our organization advance to the next level in delivering high-performance, high-quality products to our customers,” Miltec UV President Bob Blandford said in a statement.
