Dave Brunori
Brunori, who has served as executive vice president of PoloPlaz since January, will be responsible for the management and strategy development for all wood coatings in the Valentus portfolio and will continue to report directly to Valentus Specialty Chemicals President and CEO Ray Chlodney.
Brunori’s background includes serving as business director and president in the automotive paint industry.
“Dave’s diverse background in product development, operations, strategy and leadership, coupled with his acquisition and integration experience, will be an asset and the primary driver for Valentus as we look to expand our reach and grow our business,” Chlodney said in a statement.
Murray joins PoloPlaz after serving as the North American finance manager/division controller with Valspar Automotive/Quest Automotive Products, where his roles included financial responsibility, commercial team support and inventory management. Murray will report to Brunori.

Finish brands owned by Valentus include PoloPlaz, Last N Last, Harco, Absco, Garco Clear Finishes, Zip-Guard, PolyCare, Precision Technology, Sampson Coatings, Trek-Plus and Petri.
