Somerset Hardwood Flooring (Somerset, Ky.) entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with William M. Bird and Co. for the Southern region of the U.S.
William M. Bird will represent the entire branded line of Somerset Hardwood Flooring with single distribution in Middle and Eastern Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and a majority of North Carolina. The change will take full effect March 31, 2021.
“We are excited to grow our partnership with William Bird and look forward to a strong relationship as we continue on a plan for mutual growth,” Somerset Hardwood Flooring VP of Sales and Marketing Paul Stringer said in a statement.
“Forming a preferred partnership with Somerset will allow Bird to increase service levels,” William M. Bird VP of Sales John Allen added. “The plan is to leverage the reliability of our delivery and inventory with our customer relationships. In addition, we have established a concierge customer service approach to provide a heightened level of focus and energy around Somerset Hardwood Flooring.”
