Hallmark Floors (Ontario, Calif.) was recognized with a Best of Houzz award for Design & Service. The company has been recognized in the awards every year since 2016. Houzz, an online platform for home remodeling and design, has held its “Best of Houzz” for 10 years.
The Forest Stewardship Council US appointed Derik Frederiksen president. Frederiksen spent much of his career at Sealaska, the Native Corporation for Southeast Alaska, and is the founder of Sealaska Environmental Services. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and the University of Washington’s College of Forest Resources.
Fishman Flooring Solutions (Baltimore, Md.) set an attendance record for its virtual annual sales meeting, held Jan. 18–19. Approximately 200 customers, 57 vendor partners and almost 100 Fishman employees participated in the meeting, which included mini education sessions, the company said.
