WFB Briefs: Adhesives Industry Fixture Norris Legue Dies; Mannington Awards Scholarships

Norris Legue, who invented NORDOT adhesives in the basement of his New Jersey home, died May 29, 2022, at age 85. Legue was a fixture in the wood flooring industry for many years as the founder, president and owner of Synthetic Surfaces Inc. His full obituary can be found here.



Mannington Mills (Salem, N.J.), a corporate sponsor of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, awarded two college scholarships to top-performing high school students. The recipients included Isabel Edwards of Model High School in Rome, Ga., and Chloe Silvers of Adairsville High School in Adairsville, Ga.
