WFB Briefs: Mannington Donates Hardwood Flooring; IWF Holds Auction

Mannington Mills (Salem, N.J.) announced a donation of hardwood flooring to support the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program in partnership with the National Wood Flooring Association. The company’s hardwood flooring was donated to a new home in Vista, Calif., built for U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Stuart DiPaolo, who suffered life-changing injuries during a military training exercise.

The International Woodworking Fair is holding a silent digital auction, the net proceeds of which will benefit the Woodwork Career Alliance of North America (WCA) and help fund woodworking skills development programs. Auction items include a Tom Brady-signed Tampa Bay Buccaneers helmet; a Patrick Mahomes-signed Kansas City Chiefs helmet; a Mick Jagger-signed guitar; a Tuscany luxury seven-night stay for two; and a Mykonos escape five-night villa stay for four. The auction began Aug. 5 and ends Aug. 24.
