Bona US (Englewood, Colo.) and Holloway House (Fortville, Ind.), which makes Quick Shine floor care products, were among 26 recipients of the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2022 Safer Choice Partner of the Year Award.
The award, given out annually since 2015, recognizes companies that manufacture products with safer chemicals and promote environmental justice.
Bona US has been a Safer Choice partner since 2020. In 2021, the company introduced seven Safer Choice-certified products displaying the Safer Choice label. “Bona US raised awareness about the Safer Choice program with multiple social media posts and a multilingual Safer Choice portal on their website to further educate its customers on what it means to be Safer Choice certified,” the EPA stated.
Holloway House joined the Safer Choice partner program in 2008, and products with Safer Choice certification account for 50% of the company’s formulations. Holloway House was also recognized as a Safer Choice Partner of the Year in 2019.
