Hardwood Flooring Imports From China Hit 10-Year Low

Hardwood flooring imports to the U.S. declined 9% by value in September, the second consecutive month of declines, according to ITTO. Compared with September 2021, imports were down 12%.

Hardwood flooring imports from China fell 7% to their lowest level in 10 years. Imports from Brazil plunged 57% for the mont,h and imports from Malaysia declined 28%.

Despite the declines, however, hardwood flooring imports for the year were up 10% compared with 2021.
