U.S. Hardwood Flooring Imports Rose 8% in 2022

U.S. imports of hardwood flooring increased 8% in 2022 after a 2% month-over-month bump in December, ITTO reported.

In 2022, the U.S. imported more than $79.3 million in hardwood flooring.

Imports of hardwood flooring from Indonesia surged 200% in 2022, but imports from Brazil dropped 10% compared with 2021. Imports from Malaysia rose 53% and declined 59% in Vietnam in 2022. Hardwood flooring imports from China fell 16%.

Imports of engineered wood flooring rose 21% in 2022.
