“Floor sanders and finishers” ranked 15th in a list of the 50 Most Physical Jobs in America compiled by Stacker earlier this year.
The list was compiled using data from the Occupational Information Network developed for the U.S. Department of Labor. The jobs were ranked by the “importance of having stamina” on a scale of 0 to 100. Floor sanders and finishers were given an “importance of having stamina” rating of 56 out of 100.
