Powernail Company will relocate its headquarters and production operations from Lake Zurich, Ill., to Genoa City, Wis.
The company has begun construction on a $5.7 million, 40,000-square-foot facility located on 4.5 acres that will serve as its new headquarters and production building. It expects to employ 39 workers full-time in three years.
“Wisconsin is the perfect location for Powernail,” Powernail President David Anstett said in a statement. “There is a long history of manufacturing and a deep talent base to support our long-term goals. We are thrilled to be growing our company in a production-friendly state like Wisconsin.”
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has authorized up to $400,000 in state income tax credits over the next three years, contingent on the number of jobs created and capital invested.
