Compared with June 2022, U.S. hardwood flooring imports were down 3.5%. Hardwood flooring imports from Brazil plunged 60% in June to their lowest level since March 2020. Imports from China declined 15% in June.
Year-to-date, however, hardwood flooring imports in the U.S. were up 6% compared with the same period last year.
Engineered wood flooring imports in the U.S. grew 12% in June, with the top suppliers being Canada and Vietnam.
