PG Flooring, a manufacturer of hardwood flooring, is looking to hire a territory manager for the U.S. Midwest Territory.
The person will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities, contacting the relevant professionals, presenting the company, opening new accounts and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The territory manager will report to the company’s VP of sales and marketing.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
Targeting and solicit new customers
Increasing PG Flooring’s market share in the Midwest
Analyzing PG Flooring’s positioning (market share) by territory
Recommending to management actions to be taken to open new customers in existing or non-existing territories
Visiting customers in a strategic and organized approach
Establishing an action plan with customers
Implementing and promoting programs
Reassessing distribution agreements annually
Training PG Flooring’s customers’ sales staff
Setting up merchandising at PG Flooring customers’ sites.
