Contributions to the National Wood Flooring Association Scholarship in memory of James Donald “Don” Conner, Jr., have reached Named Scholarship fund level.
Named Scholarships are established when a minimum of $20,000 is raised to honor individuals who made significant and lasting contributions to the wood flooring industry.
Conner had a major influence in the industry for 44 years before he passed away in 2022.
“This scholarship not only permanently honors Don for his significant and lasting contributions to the industry, it also creates opportunities for supporting future generations of wood flooring professionals, which was very important to him,” Mullican Flooring President Pat Oakley said in a statement. “We look forward to seeing its impact on our industry by providing scholarships for additional wood flooring education.”
