Construction Job Openings at Lowest Rate Since 2020

The construction industry had 249,000 job openings the last day of October, down nearly 40% from October 2023, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey.

Industry job openings decreased by 9,000 from the last day of September.
