The Decorative Hardwood Association announced it will revise the industry consensus standard for engineered wood flooring.
This will be a five-year review process required by the American National Standards Institute, which includes requirements for grading, bond line, moisture content, machining and formaldehyde emissions.
Revisions reflect changes in manufacturing, material resources, and the overall use of the standard and its specifications.
The standards establish nationally recognized requirements for commercially available engineered wood flooring.
