Matthias “Matt” Liebert has been appointed general manager of Taylor Adhesives, which is owned by the Avery Dennison Corporation (Mentor, Ohio).
Liebert has 20 years of experience within the flooring industry, serving as chairman, CEO and president of Uzin Utz North America Inc. for 17 years. In his new role, Liebert “will be responsible for Taylor Adhesives’ strategic direction, financial performance and commercial strategy,” the press release said.
“Matt is well-known and highly regarded across the flooring industry," Ryan Yost, president of Avery Dennison Materials Group, said. “He will identify and pursue new opportunities, advance our growth priorities and deliver additional value to our customers and stakeholders.”
Liebert holds a master’s degree in general management from Central Connecticut State University, a master’s degree in information science from the University of Konstanz in Konstanz Germany, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Duale Hochschule in Heidenheim, Germany.
