Shaw Industries Group announced Vance Bell will step down as CEO and transition to executive chairman at the company April 5. Shaw’s president, Tim Baucom, will take over as CEO while maintaining his current role as president.
“After 45 years as part of the Shaw organization and 15 years as CEO, it is time to provide room for another generation of leadership,” Bell said in a statement. “I’m pleased that Tim Baucom will become our new president and CEO effective April 5. Tim has the character, experience and leadership skills to be an outstanding chief executive for Shaw.”
