U.S. imports of hardwood flooring fell to their lowest level in three years in April, declining 14%, according to the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).
Year-over-year, hardwood flooring imports in the U.S. declined 28%. The declines followed a 12% uptick in U.S. hardwood flooring imports in March.
April imports of hardwood flooring from China rebounded from a massive drop in March, climbing 167% in April, but were still down 35% compared with April 2019.
